Jessica Marine, MA, CCC-SLP/BE, is an ASHA-certified member, a New York State, New Jersey State & Florida State Licensed Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist.
She holds a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders and Deafness both from Kean University. She is certified by the Bilingual Extension from Columbia University. Pending certification in Pediatric Dysphagia (NICU outpatient services) from New York Medical College.
Jessica is certified in Bilingual Speech Evaluations in Spanish, designed for clients/patients who have a second language exposure to Spanish in their home or environment.
Her experience working in NY, NJ, and FL Public School districts (PreK-12), Early Intervention(ages 0-3), and Acute/Subacute SNF settings, with all ages across the lifespan and populations, proudly since 2011.
Jessica has experience incorporating the use of alternative and augmentative communication devices (i.e. communication boards and speech-generating devices)throughout speech and language therapy with her clients/patients. She has Medical training in adults and pediatrics with feeding and swallowing disorders, with a main focus on newborn cases with ‘Pediatric Dysphasia’ at the Brooklyn Hospital NICU, followed by Pediatric outpatient services upon discharge at NYMC.
